Can you tell me about a speaking activity that went particularly well with a group of young learners? What made it successful, and how did you support shy or reluctant students during the task?

How would you engage shy students in speaking activities?
STAR questions. Quite short. Describe a lesson. Robotic. Slow to make an offer. Two interviewers. Managed via India to complicate matters. Describe a time you did this.... etc...and so on for around 40 minutes.

Interview
One interview by two people, plus an assessment one and a half month after having worked there. The interview was rather stressful, there was one person taking notes constantly and another person asking questions.
