I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Broadline Recruiters (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2016
Interview
Friendly, professional and thorough. I was introduced to what the company had to offer, told of the benefits and also of the areas of difficulty you could expect so i knew exactly what i was walking into

Previous experience from working in hotels and retail
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Broadline Recruiters (Tallaght, Leinster) in Feb 2019
Interview
Where do I start?
I arrived in reception 30 minutes early (had to get a taxi as my bus didn't show up and I didn't want to be late)
The girls on reception were friendly but they were playing some kind of pop opera music and Celine Dion really, really loud. I was given some forms to fill (including my bank details and pps for some reason?)
I returned the forms and waited. Tried to look over my notes but the music was too distracting. After about 30 minutes the receptionist brought me into meeting room 1. I was waiting there for 30 minutes! The music was driving me crazy!
The interviewer arrived and didn't bother apologising for being late or explaining what her role was in the company. She hurriedly took down notes of my work history. Didn't ask any competency based questions. Briefly described what the role would be like (I already knew I didn't want to work here at this point) and advised me the pay would be 10ph!
The ad they put up stated pay was negotiable, the interviewer assured me this was non negotiable. I think broadline should have included this in their ad, it would've saved us both a lot of hassle.
This was the worst interview experience I have ever had.
