Interview
This is the easiest interview and hiring process, if I remember correctly and if it has not changed. Basically if you have the credentials (you only need an associates degree or 60 credits.. I have a bachelor's and so was overqualified but wanted experience in teaching culture and with the students) all you do is go to a 14 hour class which is 2 days over 2 weeks, then you get a background screening done for about $70 out of your pocket, btw, the class they require (the 14 hr class) is about $100 with book included, and then after they get back the screening and you complete class you go to a group information session and they give you a badge, you sign up for the schools or grades or areas and days you want to work and you wait for the phone to start ringing - a machine will assign you the jobs. Flexibility is one of the best parts of this job.
