I went through a long and demanding interview process with Bryant Park Consulting that included four separate interviews, each lasting multiple hours. This required a significant time investment in preparation, scheduling, and repeated conversations with the team. After completing all rounds, I was formally offered a position, which I accepted. Then, well after the fact, I was informed that the offer was being rescinded due to “restructuring.” This was not just disappointing, it was a complete waste of time. Pulling an accepted offer after such an extensive process reflects extremely poor planning and a lack of accountability. At that stage, candidates are making real decisions, turning down other opportunities, and relying on that commitment. Rescinding an offer after the fact is unprofessional and shows a serious breakdown in internal coordination and decision-making. While the interviewers themselves were fine, the overall experience left a very negative impression of how the company operates. I would strongly advise candidates to be cautious and not rely on anything until they are actually onboarded.
