Interview
Initial process is typically a phone call. If that goes well, an interview is scheduled with the investment team. The team typically votes on hires, but the ultimate decision lies within the manager of the team. The investment team is close, so team dynamic is important. Any potential hire needs to feel comfortable with the whole team.
