Applied online. They responded with an email linking to an online coding test. The test itself was fine, but much too long compared to most online code tests (it was 3 hours). Unfortunately, halfway through taking the test the internet in my home cut off and did not come back online until the next day. I informed the Bukalapak recruiter of this, but they did not reply to my email and sent me a generic automated rejection email instead. I find this completely unprofessional. If they saw my test they would see that there were no submissions for the last half of the test, because it was impossible for me to make any submissions since my internet connection was out. Very disappointing behaviour from a company that says they are trying to empower Indonesia.
