I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Burger King (Traverse City, MI) in Jan 2020
Interview
Most people speak Shakespeare quite slowly and add wayyyy too many pauses. I recommend timing yourself reading your favourite monologue out loud with plenty of energy and pace (even if you have no idea what you’re saying), and taking out all the places you might usually pause for effect. You’ll probably find that it’s not as long as you first thought! Trust that you will pick up speed after rehearsing the monologue for a while.
But if your monologue absolutely MUST be one minute and no longer, you may be able to find a favourite and cut just a few lines and it will be close
The interview process was very quick and efficient. I was in and out within 30 minutes. The hiring manager was very kind and just asked behavioral questions. "How do you work in a team"? "Why do you want to work here". Stuff like that
Long and boring. I met all of their requirements but they wouldn’t hire me. The interviewer was fake nice. But aleast she offered me a drink. I interviewed with them 4 times, all denied.
The Burger King cashier interview is usually straightforward and focused on customer service skills, reliability, and teamwork. Interviewers often ask why you want to work at Burger King, how you would handle a busy shift, and how you deal with difficult customers. They may also check your availability and comfort with tasks like handling cash, taking orders, and keeping the workspace clean. Overall, the process is short and conversational, aiming to see if you can provide friendly service, stay calm under pressure, and fit well into a fast-paced team environment.
