Interview
Very friendly interviewers making the interview comfortable but no feedback so did not hear back about the role. Edit test was required after first interview and was relatively easy to complete with feedback given. However, ultimately did not hear back.
Applied online. And after 1 month, I received an email of pre-screen phone call. Self-introduction, availability and status.
General information: Self-introduction, availability and status.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Business Insider (New York, NY) in Nov 2017
Interview
I received an email from a Producer from INSIDER to schedule a phone interview one week after applying online. The phone interview was handled by that same Producer, where she asked me about my video production experience, what I liked about INSIDER's content, and what I could bring to INSIDER. I was also asked to pitch a story idea - so be prepared!
I followed up with the producer (via email) a few days after the phone interview. In that email, I mentioned I owned the Adobe Creative Suite and was willing to complete an "edit test". That same day, she asked me to complete their edit test. For the edit test, they gave me 6 hours to create an INSIDER-style video with the footage provided. You can use any music/song you want.
After completing the edit test, I was contacted by a Supervising Producer to meet some of the team in their New York office. My in-person interview was split into two parts. I first met with the Supervising Producer and an Executive Producer. I then met with the Managing Editor and the Senior Editor-in-Chief. Each interview lasted about 15 minutes, where they asked similar questions to the phone interview.
After following up a week later with INSIDER, they told me they went in a different direction with the position. I was glad they at least responded to my follow-up, because they usually do not respond at all if you're not selected for the position.
