Recruited by an aggressive outside recruiting firm on LinkedIn. Had 4 phone interviews with the recruiter, CSO, C-4 Board Member, and one of the co-founders. (Should’ve been more weary of them not wanting to Skype or fly me into their HQ for a final interview.) Co-founder was very difficult to talk to, and the interview lasted ~15 minutes. Very disinterested, and seemed preoccupied. Wasn’t sure if I had bombed or did well. It was clear they were desperate to fill a role, and moved through the process at warp speed in ~2 weeks. CSO put a timeline expiration on the offer, 24 hrs, however, I didn’t have a benefits package and compensation plan in hand. Disorganized, and hasty. They did not allow any time off between my old job and new job either. The red flags were there, and I failed to heed them.
