They gave me a string an asked to write a program to check the max no of times two consecutive characters were repeated and also get the characters that were repeated.

It was good and they are asking basic questions. They are basically looking for the database profile, so asking more questions related to DB. They didn't ask a single question from struts, hibernate, servlet and JSP.
