Interview process was fairly normal with standard questions being asked to understand your background and previous experiences. However, there were so many red flags based on the questions I asked and the way they react.
1. Company has difficulty retaining manpower, reason given was engineers were "constantly poached" by their clients
2. Asked for clarification on job description, answered in a "beating around the bush" manner
3. Probed more on the role's responsibilities, turns out job description is inaccurate to actual job scope
4. Offer was alot lower than I expected, HR tries to convince you by claiming that they can make special arrangement to the variable bonus to make up for the difference
5. Online job ad stated salary range was $3500 - $4500 but HR insisted that maximum is only $4000
6. HR arranged for another meeting to negotiate regarding salary package but decided to cancelled it
7. HR kept pushing me for a start date even though I can only give a rough date as details need to be discuss with my current company if I were to tender my resignation
8. HR was really unprofessional in handling new hires, constantly rushing you to go for interviews, little time to consider job offer etc.
