I Received a call, and I given an appointment at the office in montreal. A normal interview took place with a board including hiring officers as well as engineers who were in charge of asking the technical questions. They asked both questions that pertain to your personality as well as technical questions

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CAE (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2024
Interview
Interviewers were very friendly. Shared a few laughs too. Accepted the offer as a consultant. Unfortunately, the offer was rescinded before I could start because all the consultants at CAE Montreal got laid off apparently.

Question 1
Technical: Pure Virtual functions, frameworks, logic circuit, real-time computing, etc.
Behavior: How do you fix this new issue if you only have a week left, how do you fix errors in your code, etc.
Applied online, HR got back to me one week later. Interview was around 1 hour, with project manager and technical lead. Behavioral and technical are splitted in half. The manager showed me around work space and the simulators. HR wrote to me 2 hours after the interview saying that the interview went well and the hiring process has begun.
