I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CARVANA (Phoenix, AZ) in Nov 2016
Interview
I applied online and was emailed by a recruiter a few days later to set up a phone interview. Afterwards, I was invited to the "open house." I was interviewed by 3 different people separately, but each person asked me the same basic questions--why I wanted to work there, why I think I'd be a good fit for the company, and what my major was. I think it would have been a better option to go to a basic 1:1 interview, as there would have been more time for me to show why I would be a good fit for their company, rather than simply answering the same three questions to three different people. Everyone was very friendly, but I don't feel like the interview process is efficient or helpful for either the interviewees or interviewers. If you are preparing for an interview with Carvana, please consider skipping the open house and scheduling a regular interview instead.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CARVANA (Tempe, AZ) in Oct 2024
Interview
Contacted via text on the interview process, and information was not clear on the interview process. Was not sure whom I was texting, and when I asked for a name, the individual did not provide a name so assumed I was texting chatbots. Texts claimed I would be interviewing in person with 2 hiring managers, however, after the interview ended with the 2 hiring managers ended up interviewing a separate time with higher-ups with a total of 4 people and for a total of an hour for the combined two interviews. Maybe this process didn't apply to everyone, but I did not appreciate the under-communication.

Interview
Straight forward, use STAR to answer any questions and be yourself. They basically ask about previous customer service experience and how you handle different situations. This position is on the road driving a truck so make sure you are comfortable with that.

Question 1
How have you handled a difficult customer experience?
Quick and Easy! The process took 2 weeks which was great! Interviewing should not take more then that as some companies will go as long as 2 months. Very happy with the process.
