After submitting multiple applications for learning roles, I was finally contacted by a recruiter for a screening call. Following that, I was interviewed by someone in an adjacent role who was very insightful in terms of culture, environment, etc. and someone who asked very specific and targeted questions. Following that, I was scheduled for an in-person interview. They give you no details about who you are meeting with or for how long - you have to ask. I was scheduled to meet with four different managers/directors including the hiring manager. They tell you to bring copies of your resume - do this for sure, because no one I spoke with had a copy (nor were they interested in keeping it - they just managed to leave it behind for the next person). My final interviewer didn't show up - after about 15 minutes, they found a sub (who was even less prepared than the three who did talk with me) and while the conversation was interesting, it was hard to know what she did or how it was related to the position I was interviewing for. All the interviews seemed rushed and ill-prepared - everyone had just 30 minutes. The position itself seems a bit confused - they kept talking about challenges in their training processes, but at the same time when I offered possible solutions, they were very quick to discount new ideas or say that they already did that. It looked like a great place to work (growing, adapting, and fast-paced), and there are definitely some talented people there.
