I applied online. I interviewed at CBS 46 WGCL (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2020
Interview
I applied for the job in September but didn't hear back until November. After that, the process was pretty fast and smooth! I did a video interview, then the manager called and gave a brief overview of the role. My final interview was on Webex with the Assignment Desk Manager, News Director, Associate Director, and Digital Manager. Everyone was really nice and it lasted about 45 minutes.

Interview
I was asked various questions about my experience and what I would bring to the newsroom. The interviewer did ask me about a problem that I experienced and how I went about solving for it. They also asked me how well I worked with other people because apparently some people in the newsroom could have interesting personalities.

Interview
You spend the entire day interviewing with the entire management team. There is also a writing test but you do not get feedback on how you did. You're there from 9 to 630. The last couple of hours you spend in the control room with other producers who clearly do not want to be bothered. You do get lunch.
