The interview itself went fine. The interviewers were friendly and asked all the standard questions. Their HR department/person is one of the worst I've dealt with. My resume indicated I was an out of state applicant, yet when I received the call from HR, they wanted to schedule me in person and were caught off guard when I asked to confirm whether they were open to out of state applicants. I was told they needed to check with the hiring manager. I ultimately received an email invitation with the agreed upon time, but this was followed by an email stating the first email had been a mistake. When I asked for clarification I received a call and HR re-affirmed the email had been a mistake. It turned out not to be a mistake, but HR thought I had come to interview in person the day prior (I do not have a common name, so I'm not sure how this mistake happened). After the initial interview I received two emails. The first was an unpopulated/generic email template invitation to an interview. The second, sent a few minutes later, was an email indicating that they decided to move forward with another candidate. When I asked for clarification, I received no response. If this is any indication of how the rest of the CCSI team works/ deals with their clients, I would caution anyone considering working there to think twice.
