Step 5 - Panel Interview with all kinds of people who have nothing to do with your job (minimum 3.5 hours)
Step 6 - EXTENSIVE and unnecessary background check (references, credit, criminal, civil, personal, and employment). Its like your applying for the NSA
Step 7 - Preliminary job offer with expected start date of the next day
Step 8 - All kinds of training (HR, IT, Accounting, Department, Operations)
