      Dotnet Developer Interview

      26 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Kuala Lumpur
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CIMB Group (Kuala Lumpur) in May 2026

      Interview

The interviewer, whose name starts with “Ho,” seemed to prefer a more theoretical mindset rather than practical industry experience. It felt like they were looking for someone with an academic or lecturer-style background instead of an experienced developer. In Chinese, this is similar to the idiom “paper talk on strategy”, meaning someone who only knows theory but not practical work. He prefers candidates who are strong in memorization, reasoning, and verbal explanation without perform action and don't even know how to use action to solve problem.
