Operate various pieces of production equipment for the production of radiopharmaceuticals
· Perform aseptic packaging of bulk products manually or using telemanipulators
· Stage materials for the production of radiopharmaceuticals
· Preparation of packages for distribution as per the regulations for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Packaging and Transport of Nuclear Substances (PTNS), as well as International Air Transport Association (IATA) · Follow experimental plans to support the development of radiopharmaceuticals
· Perform decontamination cleaning of hot cells
· Perform routine cleaning of aseptic areas and cleanroom suites
· Perform routine calibration of equipment
· Maintain documentation to fulfill all facility, Provincial, Federal and applicable International regulatory requirements relating to nuclear safety and GMP manufacturing.
· Ensure that all work is conducted according to safety policies and regulations
· Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving.
· Conduct investigations for batch failures and non-conformances.
· Assist with the production of CPDC drug products at other facilities as needed.
· Complete all other duties related to the production of radiopharmaceuticals as required
Qualifications
· College Diploma or B. Sc. in Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field · 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
· Experience working in a GMP is considered an asset
· Ability to lift 23 kilograms required
Additional Details:
This position requires rotational night shifts with starting times that vary from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am and includes work on weekends.
