First HR will contact you and check some basic information from your CV, then if they still interested they will schedule a Technical Interview.
This stage evaluates the candidate's technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. For example, a candidate for a Mainframe Developer they will ask you to explain:
Your experience with mainframe technologies like COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM
Understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and debugging
Familiarity with tools such as Abend-AID, File-AID, or CA7
Real-world problem-solving and how you’ve handled production issues
Then if you pass, they will evaluate your experience and send you an offer.
