I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CR&R (Stanton, CA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Much like an interogation. Asked questions unrelated to the job at hand. Also kept throwing random questions completly unrelated to any previous questions. None of the questions had to do with my expierence as a truck driver or anything realted to the waste industry.

Question 1
Did you play sports in high school over 25 years ago
Have you ever been involved in an accident even if not at fault and when in your personal vehicle
Have you ever in your lifetime had a speeding ticket in your personal vehicle and when
Worst interview process I’ve ever been apart of. Absolutely unorganized. I was invited into the office for a 2 interviews. Each Interview was 5 minutes long but I was there 3 hours total. The managers are unprofessional and the environment is awful.
I can see why drivers are quitting nonstop and not finishing routes.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CR&R
Interview
I interviewed with the company quite a while ago, but the first-round interview was fine. I enjoyed the conversation and they seemed impressed with my background. They ultimately passed me on to the next round, with the company's President, David Ronnenberg. This was an absolute disaster. He was about 20 minutes late, took a social phone call during the interview, and went off-topic for most of our time. I hardly got a word in edge-wise, and was barely able to go over my qualifications. I've honestly never felt so disrespected in an interview setting.
