It was an in-person interview where I met with one of the CEOs and two senior engineers. The discussion went very well, I answered all of their questions clearly, and they even mentioned that they liked my profile and showed me around the office.
Unfortunately, after that, there was no follow-up at all. That was disappointing, not because the outcome might have been negative, but because there was no response despite the time and effort invested on both sides.
I fully understand that hiring decisions take time and that the final answer can be a rejection. However, I believe that at the very least, candidates deserve a brief and clear response.
I hope that in the future, there will be more consideration for candidates’ time and effort.
