First step was profile shortlisting from where they moved on to personal interview which was easy to moderate and was basically whirled around basic HR concepts and lateral thinking abilities of the candidates

They asked me a situation based question that there is an intern who is bound to work for 30 days for obtaining his/her internship certificate and stipend but he/she opted out on the 28th day. Should I being the HR issue the certificate and the stipend or not?
