I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at CSC (Plano, TX) in Jun 2019
Interview
The interview consisted of two parts, a one-on-one interview with the team manager, and a group interview with some members of the team.
Overall, the interview itself wasn't exceptionally tough. They will want to know a lot about your background, and then there will be quite a few questions about your writing style and workplace preferences.
Unfortunately, I found the interview process fairly unprofessional. While the one-on-one interview was perfectly fine, the group interview was very uncomfortable.
The group that interviewed me seemed unprepared, and no one was really able to step up and lead the discussion. There were uncomfortable giggles several times from two of the people interviewing me, and it was really quite strange. I did not feel comfortable during this portion of the interview.
They also seemed relatively disinterested in having an engaging discussion with me. I found myself asking them questions more than they asked me. Some of the questions were completely unnecessary. Frankly, upon leaving, I realized that this was not a company for which I would feel comfortable working.
Furthermore, it took this team over three weeks to get back to me with any type of response. This is highly unprofessional in my opinion. While I understand hiring takes time, I was only given infrequent updates by the recruiter, who seemed to have been left completely in the dark about any type of decisions made by this group.
I certainly would not recommend this company.
