      Senior Digital Project Manager Interview

      17 Sept 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CTI Digital in Sept 2025

      Interview

My interview process was fairly quick, I spoke to a gentleman who's name I won't share on this occasion, and he took me through the process of the interview, and gave me a backstory about CTI and how they got to where they are now, including a few redundancies, of which I am aware of people who faced them, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. When he discussed these redundancies, I felt his tone change to become a bit awkward and embarrassed to discuss it, but that may be due to the fact I mentioned I had interviewed with CTI before at their old offices (also ghosted somewhat at the time too - but more on that later) and therefore had seen with my own eyes the scale of the company's downsize in workforce and offices. I reached the final stage of the process and during the first stage, was informed that their were no presentations or preparations required for this final, third stage - this was true, and a welcome change to the application process nowadays. To add to this, there were (altogether) 3 stages to the application. The screening call with the internal recruiter, a call with the head of department, and an invite to the office for further discussions with the head of department and their colleague. I met with the Head of department, and the individual whose job was made available as he was moving into another role within the company. Both were friendly in person, although, I'd have appreciated if I'd met the second individual mentioned above, on the second stage call, as they came across quite apprehensive from the start, which lead to me feeling quite anxious as it is. Nonetheless, nothing too crazy in terms of the interview itself, it was a semi-informal chat about the role, my experience, etc. However, the issue with this process was that the day before the interview, the internal recruiter got in touch with me to see if everything is fine ahead of the interview, which I thought was a great touch. I went in to the final stage interview and met him at the office and we were speaking beforehand, where he told me about the process again, informed me of what happens after, and asked me to speak to him and get in touch with him after the interview. However, after the interview had ended, the interviewers must not have been informed of that process (in their defence) and quite politely walked me out of the office - again nothing wrong there. However, once I was out of the office, given the situation, I instead texted the internal recruiter (as that was the understanding and method of contact now) and thanked them for the welcome and let them know how the interview went. I didn't get a response, but thought nothing of it, as it was essentially a checking-out message. A week and a half goes by, and I'm still yet to receive ANY communication (be it email, phone call, or even text) as to the outcome of my application, if the role has been filled, or if any offer is likely to be sent over. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time applying here, as this has happened to me twice, and speaking with other people within my network, this has happened to them also. Poor communication, and it really affected my overall experience with CTI Digital.
