Initial screening was sound and promising. What followed wasn't a great experience.
The hiring manager (CMO) turned up late to the interview, apologised and then appeared distracted throughout even losing focus entirely after asking questions to send messages. It wasn't fair on me having spent a significant amount of time researching the business and preparing for the interview.
The next interview was with an employee who had been in seat for 2 weeks. It seemed to go ok, we shared similar values.
I received a generic rejection email which I had expected due to the hiring manager not listening and being distracted during the interview. I did ask for feedback, but didn't receive a response at all.
A couple of days later I received an email asking me for feedback on the process. Well - here it is.
