Caffe Aldo Lamberti received my personally emailed application for a server position and called me the next day offering me a bartender position. Once I arrived to the restaurant I waited around for 20 minutes for the hiring manager, who then gave me a huge packet testing me on the restaurant’s menu. I’m pretty knowledgeable about food and did the best I could and turned it in. I then waited another 20 minutes before the hiring manager met me again. We then continued with a full interview. Once our interview was complete, he offered me a position busing tables. As an experienced hospitality professional I was incredibly offended by the absolute waste of my time and insult to my skill.
