The interview process was normal, but then the recruiter started asking me for all kinds of things, like two government ids, emergency contacts, etc. I asked if I was to assume I was receiving a job offer, and they said not until I submitted that information. It feels scammy and I no longer am certain of their legitimacy as a company. I talked with other people in HR at other companies and they found it very strange I would need to submit those things prior to job offer and acceptance. It very well may be legit but it created warning bells for me.
