Interviewed with District 12 via zoom. I am a 15 year Caltrans Engineer and wanting to transfer. Interviewers on the panel were rude and didn’t let me finish. They were sexist and ageist. Not very friendly and they put candidates on the spot and treat them like garbage
It’s a structured interview process. You walk in, there’s a binder on the desk and you simply answer what’s in the binder. I was asked four questions and allotted 30 minutes to answer.

Two interviews, straightforward, series of questions with a certain allotted timeframe to answer all of them. You have the opportunity to go back and add detail if needed to answer the question further or to ask the interviewers if they need clarification.

What is your approach if you and a coworker disagree on something whether it be creating plans, standards, etc?

Received a call and was asked if I was available for a certain time/date for a zoom call. Email was sent confirming details of call. During interview, it was a panel of 3 and they took turns asking questions that were also provided in a PowerPoint for one to read
