      HR-undisclosed Interview

      No offer

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Canonical

      Interview

First thing, the application through their website is one of these long applications with many questions, which include questions about high school results. Then they send you a list of approximately 15 questions (or more) to do a sort of essay, this is not even the early stage of the process, they call it "assessment" or something like that. It will take a long time to answer all this questions (they give you 2 weeks to turn this in, so you can imagine how long it is). I would advise to do it only if you really really want to work with this company, because if you don't advance to the next stage, you would have invested a good amount of hours answering these questions to receive a generic email telling you you're not moving to the next stage, no call, no feedback on your essay. Is really not a good candidate experience.
