Canva Java Software Engineer interview questions

(1) Initial Interview (1) Coding Exercise (3) Technical interviews which are 45 min each and one (1) Values Interview which is 30 min. You will also have a 5 min break between each session.

I send my CV and got an email from a recruiter an hour later. She was talking about setting up a time to “have a chat”. I prepared for an HR interview but then on the day it turned out to be a technical pre screening. I didn’t nail it, I wasn’t prepared for it. When I interviewed for Google those two were separated. I understand that Canva really need to filter their candidates, but the recruiter could have told me more about the process beforehand, could have had more interest in me as a person and overall could have handled the situation much better. I found a job a week later where the recruitment process didn’t make me feel like an idiot.
