      Junior Data Analyst Interview

      5 Nov 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CarOnSale

      Interview

The communication with the HR representative was excellent - very professional, kind, and responsive. She made the entire process smooth and pleasant. But process takes ages. The data team appeared nice, but the expectations for a junior position were quite high. It felt like they were seeking a mid-level candidate, who willing to work for junior salary.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They ask you to present the insights you got from the home task - and at this stage, they already expect you to demonstrate at least mid-level skills. After that, they move on to questions about utilization rate, EDA, and a random case study.
