I saw the role has been posted for half a year so I reached out to a recruiter and did a screening call after two weeks of waiting. I moved forward and did a panel video interview with two senior vice president for its inaugural program and came in expressing genuine interest in the company and engaging questions. I did weeks of research on the company and industry because of the culture and recent internal restructure. However, the interviewers didn't seem interested in my background since I wasn't from the area so the interview was cut short. There's a lack of young talent. Kind of wish the company hired recent grads as a chance to prove themselves and move with hiring trend like other companies out there.
