I applied online. I interviewed at Carat Group (New York, NY) in Jun 2018
Interview
Overall a bit odd and confusing. Heard back immediately from recruiter after applying. “Introductory” phone interview with recruiter was 15 minutes (half the time was recruiter discussing their below market non-negotiable salary, which I had known beforehand via Glassdoor). Was immediately offered a second “1-hour” phone interview with director...
The next day, recruiter confirmed (via typo-filled email) a 1-hour phone interview with director—yet ended up being 30 minutes. Director briefly/vaguely mentioned I’d hear from another director—not communicated or coordinated well at all.
From what I was told during the phone interview, they were looking for individuals not based on their technical skills, but on their communication skills and ability to learn.
Unfortunately, the technical questions asked and time allotted during the phone interview left me confused as to what they were really looking for.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Carat Group (Detroit, MI) in Sept 2018
Interview
Only had one interview, but was interviewed by the VP and a director of the analytics team. They asked me a series of analytical questions to understand my way of thinking. For an entry level role the interview was fairly standard, not too hard not too easy.

Interview
I applied to the position on LinkedIn. I believe it was an In Easy Apply. I applied on Friday and received an email on Monday asking me to schedule a phone screening. I believe we scheduled it for the following Wednesday. We discussed the role and the company, basic phone screening questions. My hiring manager was very nice, honestly the best one I've come across. I was invited to the office the following week. There I met two people from the department the position was in. They asked about my experience and what I like about the company. I heard back in a few days.

Interview
I sat with two interviewers on-site at Carat. They were both very nice and were primarily interested in my work history, school background, and experience in the field of marketing analytics. In total the conversation lasted a little over an hour, with the last 15-20 minutes consisting of me asking them questions about the company and their own roles within.
