Phone call, then in person/working interview. Manager never came to collect me during working interview and I finally had to ask to leave after a few hours which I thought was rather unprofessional
I applied online. I interviewed at Caring Hands Animal Hospital (Ashburn, VA) in Dec 2018
Interview
I received a quick response from them after my application. However the main hiring person and the one from my branch weren't in the best of communication. When I finally got the in-person interview, after the 2 phone interviews I did, the environment was very calm and relaxing. The person that interviewed me was very sweet and seemed very eager to welcome me into the team. She was talking about me as if I was already working there. She said that she wanted to see me do an observational interview and that she would reach out to me. She didn't so I reached out thinking maybe it was a test to see how eager I was to start. I gave her a few days after the interview and then reached out. I haven't gotten a response which is disheartening. If they thought I wasn't a match, they should have said so but this is normal for people to go through in the interviewing process sometimes.
Thank you for your feedback. I want to assure you that you haven’t been forgotten… our hiring processes can sometimes take longer than other employers to ensure we find the best match, and we appreciate your patience. Our multiple interviews really help us get a feel for who will be the best fit for our team and culture. Between the holidays & vacations, we’ve had a longer than normal delay in scheduling observational interviews. I genuinely apologize for the lack of communication & hope you received my message. I look forward to seeing you soon.
