      Sales Associate Interview

      28 Jul 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Jersey City, NJ
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Carlo's Bakery (Jersey City, NJ) in Jul 2016

      Interview

The interview was brief and not difficult at all. Most of the interview was the background of the company and a description of the position. After the interview I was later invited via email to trail/mark a sales associate for a couple of hours. The position I was applying for was no longer open. The only position being offered to me was the sales associate in Times Square, which did not seem to be worth it to me considering the low pay and having to commute to the city from where I live.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Do you think you can handle working in such a busy and demanding environment? (Knowing how busy the Times Square location can be on a regular basis)
      Answer question

      Question 2

Are you willing to work weekends, late nights (after 1am), and holidays (like Christmas)?
