I had an Initial chat with the internal Recruiter, where we discussed my experience, salary expectations etc.
Then the process consisted of a:
- First stage interview with Principal Consultant
- Second stage interview with Management
Consultant VP
- Informal chat with team member
- Review with internal Recruiter

Took a long time to get the slot for the initial HR screening and the interview later on. I only got to the initial interview and was not called back for the superday interview

Interview
After a successful screening of my CV and cover letter, I was put through to the phone interview stage. I was told before the phone interview to write 200 words on a TMT company of my choice and what the drivers would be for their success. I was also told that the interview consist of a) competency questions and then b) questions on my 200 word submission. In reality, he/she asked one competency/biographical question only, then proceeded to ask me about an area of technology I knew little about for half an hour. The interviewer never mentioned my 200 word submission once (which I had put a considerable amount of research and effort into). Moreover, his/her questions were poorly articulated and he/she kept interrupting my answers to change the focus of his/her question, which resulted in a very disjointed interview. It did not allow me to show off my skills, attributes or knowledge at all. To add insult to injury, they never even responded to tell me I was rejected despite informing me that I should hear within the week.
