I was moving here from another state. I had a decade of experience in the field including a shelter with over 200 dog kennels and about the same for cats. I had phone interview and I asked a few questions ( remember this) a few months later I arrived in Savannah. I had 2nd interview with another hiring personnel and direct supervisor, I asked a couple more questions.
I had my working interview a couple days later. Only main difference from other jobs is the focus on dog bathing.
Now my movers hadn't arrived yet ( though they promised they would have 5 days prior but the scammers lied, whole other story) and I had spent the last 10 days on an air mattress... I was sore and tired but gave it my all during working interview. I asked direct supervisor a few more questions after the working interview was over. Then there was yet another talking interview with yet another hiring personnel. When I did not have any additional questions she got pissy. This isn't a complicated job, I had been doing it a decade. This was the 4th ( 5th if you count who I was working with)damn person involved in the interview process. There were not any more possible questions. I was treated like I was just indifferent but Idk what could possibly be asked about such a simple position .
I did not have any of my references except on my laptop. I had no printer and knowledge of how to print anywhere in this new town. I had to hand write my references... I got attitude about this as well.
I kept getting attitude, I was beyond tired and cranky from issues with movers. I was not gonna figure out how to pacify her. Idk if I would have taken job if offered.
They have one of the lowest pay for position in city. There must be a reason they are constantly hiring for this position.
