Initial non-technical phone interview with recruiter, asked simple weed-out questions and some resume questions. Next was a pretty simple phone interview, mostly trivia about whatever languages I had on my resume, questions about OO concepts, data structures, algorithms, etc. On-site interview was a 30 minute pen-and-paper quiz followed by some design questions on a whiteboard.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Catchpoint
Interview
From my submission of the application to the phone screen took about 10 days. After the phone screen to the on site interview, it took about 2 more weeks (they do not reimburse travel fees for the interview). The phone screen lasted about 15 minutes and asked some basic questions about my resume, such as: what is your favorite project, what is your least favorite project, what are you currently working on, etc.
There was a short quiz during the phone call:
1) What is the difference between a stack and a queue?
2) What is a circular linked list?
Make sure you clearly and concisely say what you mean. I tried to simplify my answer since the interviewer was writing it down, but apparently it was not the answer they were looking for.
