I saw a posting on Indeed about a Support Engineer position and decided to apply since I met the job requirements. About like 2 weeks later, their HR team reached out to schedule a virtual interview with their CTO, System Admin and Director of Business Application over Teams. When the interview first started it was just me and their Director of Business Application and it was basically just going over my experience, why I wanted to leave my current position and I guess seeing if you'll be a fit at the company. It's also a hybrid position, there wasn't much technical questions beside how would you reconstruct a conference room with no budget for a hybrid work environment or business meeting. When the CTO joined, he was very upbeat and started giving his background. Most of his questions were all based on getting to know you like if you were at a party, how would you describe your current title and what did I think of the job title. The interview went a little over 30 minutes, the System Administrator joined when it was like 10 minutes left but didn't ask any questions. It been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything so I guess they went with someone else. Nowadays there are a lot of people applying to 1 open position so I understand that they won't be able to keep everyone informed but it's nice to know when they do.
