Interview
I submitted my resume and cover letter via email. Two days later, I received an email from the Director of Strategic Operations and People and was asked to fill out a lengthy questionnaire. I submitted the questionnaire that same day. Sixteen days later (mind you, this was during the holidays), I was invited to interview with the Director of Development. She and I spoke and had, by all indications, a great conversation. She sent me an exercise that she asked that I complete. She said it would take two hours to do so. As I work full-time and also attend graduate school part-time, it took me three days (a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) to complete the exercise. I sent the exercise back to her (which essentially asked me to redo their website and write a campaign email for them) and then never heard back again. Highly unprofessional and disappointing.
