I applied through university. I interviewed at Charlesworth Research (Cambridge, MA)
Interview
mostly just math probability questions and brain teasers. first they sent you an email with a few math questions mostly about probability and then first round on the phone with HR, also more probability questions. Then second round on the phone with a trader. There were behavior questions and math questions. pretty much a mixed up of everything.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
probability questions such as finding the P of certain results from rolling a dice or picking cards
The interview takes up to 20 mins (scheduled to take 30 mins). The interviewer is late for about 25 mins, and she is not interested in your past expericence, which means that she didn't even look at your resume before the interview. Some typical probability questions afterwards, and I could barely hear the voice from the interviewer. It is a bad experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charlesworth Research (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2015
Interview
First, I have to take a online quantitative test which is very simple, just basic math questions. Then phone interview, go through resume, then probability questions which are easy, takes up to 25 mins. The third round is about behavioral questions personality. Not bad experience. I didn't get the offer.
