I applied for this position online and received a call from the recruiter the next day. He gave me a very brief and rushed screening over the phone, and asked me to call his assistant, who would schedule an interview with the department supervisor. This seemed odd to me, but I called her as he asked.
A few days later, I had a phone interview with the supervisor. He started off by asking where I lived and then proceeded to describe a position (nearest to Covina) that I didn't apply for. I informed him that I applied for the LVN navigator position that was closer (less than 20 minutes) to my home. He tried to imply that maybe I was mistaken, and the HR rep confirmed the job details with him. This made me uncomfortable because he made it seem that I was confused and this was somehow my mistake?
Needless to say, the conversation came to a stand still because he wasn't the hiring manager for the position I wanted and I wasn't interested in the position he called about. He stated that he would follow up with the HR rep and give me a call back the next week. The call never came, of course, and I never heard back from the HR rep about the status of my application.
