Charton Hobbs interview questions

I went through two interviews, pretty simple and straight forward to me. The first interview was with a human resource specialist and the second was with my future team manager.

I interviewed with a recruitment agency for the role of Trade Marketing Manager with Escalade Wine & Spirits. The interviewer was critical of my experience in the legal cannabis space and went on to tell me I wasn’t fit for the job as I was “too creative” and the role was “boring”. I let her know I thought that was a closed minded view and all creative campaigns start with bones and I have many years of experience building technical sales support. She then insulted what I was wearing so I immediately hung up the Microsoft teams call. If you are contacted for an interview with the recruitment agency supporting this role, do not take the call. This woman was dangerous, judgemental, and hateful. They are looking for people new in their career so if you do have the displeasure of speaking with the recruitment team, know your worth and stand your ground… also wear whatever you want and be yourself!
