I heard from a recruiter very quickly after applying online. The initial phone screen was straightforward and what you would expect. I had three 1:1s totalling 3.5 hours, and moved relatively quickly between the three with clear indicators given by interviewers that I would be moving to the next round. After the final 1:1…crickets. I followed up and was told an update with instructions on next steps would be shared the following week. Assuming it would be a panel or presentation, I moved a few other interviews around to give myself space to focus on this one when it came through, but the recruiter totally ghosted. You would think that for such a senior role and for getting so far in the process, they would have the respect to provide an update or give feedback, but I guess that’s not how Chewy rolls.

The process started off very engaging with the recruiter checking in after every rounds. My last round, the loop round, spanned over multiple days. On my last day of the loop round, before the interview, I saw that the job posting was taken down. The recruiter assured me that the position is still open and because of that assurance, I finished my last interview. After that, there was no communication from the recruiter. They just disappeared.
You will interview both over zoom and in person. The process goes several rounds/weeks. You will meet people across multiple functions. Be prepared to go deep follow up questions will dig in to your experience.

Interview
Very unstructured with little transparency and communication over a month long period. I've never been through multiple rounds of interviews with such a lack of respect for other peoples time. There was no follow up or clear decision from them one way or the other after the last of 3 calls, and then they just stopped responding to any messages in an attempt for feedback.
