I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Chewy
Interview
The process started off very engaging with the recruiter checking in after every rounds. My last round, the loop round, spanned over multiple days. On my last day of the loop round, before the interview, I saw that the job posting was taken down. The recruiter assured me that the position is still open and because of that assurance, I finished my last interview. After that, there was no communication from the recruiter. They just disappeared.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chewy in Jul 2022
Interview
I have actually been through this process twice. Both times began as an InMail from a Chewy Recruiter on LinkedIn. I was excited by the opportunity to work for Chewy and grow my career in a new direction. The Recruiters set up screening calls where they discussed the roles and how my experience and skills would align with the position. I was assured that I was on a shortlist of candidates and that I was considered "top talent." The first recruiter ghosted me after the screening call, never responding to my calls, emails or InMails. The second recruiter, who acted horrified by his colleagues' behavior, did the exact same thing. In neither case did I receive any feedback on my candidacy at all. I was just "disappeared" with no further contact of any kind. I had to think to myself: if this is how Chewy treats mid-senior leadership candidates they barely know, how do they treat employees on the job? I also found it strange there was no mention of pets anywhere in the interview process -- for a petcare company, I'd expect pets to be at the heart and soul of culture.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to go several layers deep in an analysis to get to the answer
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Chewy
Interview
Very unstructured with little transparency and communication over a month long period. I've never been through multiple rounds of interviews with such a lack of respect for other peoples time. There was no follow up or clear decision from them one way or the other after the last of 3 calls, and then they just stopped responding to any messages in an attempt for feedback.
