Chewy Software Engineer, Level Unclear interview questions

Spoke with a recruiter and described what I was interested in. She connected me with another recruiter, who I had a really great conversation with and was excited about moving forwards. That recruiter didn't ever follow up, so I went back to the original. She connected me with a third, regarding an engineering manager role that I had already been explicit about not looking for. Eventually in my search for a staff engineer interview, I ended up in an interview for a senior role, where I was able to get a good understanding of the difference. I got a call back a few days later, explaining that I did not have enough experience in an area that I didn't feel like I was interviewed on.
