There was an initial phone interview with two people who would be my direct supervisors, where they talked about the position and asked me questions about my research background. I was then invited for an in-person interview. I only interviewed with one person, as the other was on vacation. The interview was a half-hour, and we discussed the ins and out of the position, the difficulty of working in a children's hospital with critically- and sometimes terminally-ill children, and coordinating across departments. The interviewers were warm and friendly, but spoke realistically about the demands of the positions and would probably have been excellent supervisors.
