I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chili's Grill and Bar (College Station, TX) in Jun 2009
Interview
When I applied, I spoke directly with the manager on duty, and after my background check, I was hired on the spot. They had me sit down and fill out some easy paperwork, and I took a "test" that tested how well I could read and do basic math on a very basic level. Chili's was a fun company to work for sometimes, but it seemed too controlled by the corporate office (which makes sense, I know, but it made working there pretty miserable).

Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward. Once you walk in you tell the host you have an interview and then a manager will interview you. They are looking for a happy bubbly person.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer? How did you handle it?
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Chili's Grill and Bar (Kuala Lumpur) in Oct 2023
Interview
It was done by asking few interesting questions and was discussed regarding time to work. It was quite the best experience to be in the interview since the interviewer even asked why we should work in Chilis and how it will benefit me.
Sat down in bar for 30 mins to talk about my experience and availability. Met the head manager as well. Short and sweet and was offered the job immediately as they needed help.
