I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chuck E. Cheese
Interview
The entire interview and hiring process was pretty simple and professional, however long too.
I was contacted by a Recruiter on Monster about applying for Assistant Manager, not Senior (that came later). Did my research on the company before deciding to apply. After I applied, I had to setup my own phone interview which was cool because I got to choose the day and time.
When speaking to the Recruiter, she told me about the company and why she was interested. I enjoyed the conversation and how nice she was. She said she thought I was a good fit due to my experience and wanted to move me on the Area Director/DM. I had to wait about a week to meet with him which was fine. He was a very nice and intelligent gentleman. Knew his stuff and had been in the business for a long time.
I mentioned that I was also interested in the Senior Assistant Manager position because that’s what I really wanted but was okay with Assistant. It came up that the position could be available at some point and I could definitely move into that role. So I was satisfied.
After meeting with him, I had to wait another week to meet the GM. She was really really cool, down to earth and I felt good about her. She showed me around, I met the other and some of the crew.
At the end of my interview (which felt more as just a meet & greet), she expressed she wanted me and contacted her boss while I was there to get the okay to make an offer.
Although I applied for Assistant Manager, I was offered the Senior Assistant Manager position which I was so thrilled about.
In the end, I think the process was great. Everyone was professional, honest and up front about everything. I would change nothing.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Chuck E. Cheese in Jan 2022

Experience is required, basically have to know how to manage 20+ employees. Depending on district manager, if they are in desperate need, they will hire anyone. Which means they are always hiring, due to not hiring correct candidates
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chuck E. Cheese (New York, NY) in Feb 2018
Interview
I was sent recruitment emails through indeed a few times. A year later I attended a hiring event, that I was too late for. I called the recruiter and was given a next day interview with the District Manager. We hit it off and spoke for hours. I felt confident that I would get a job offer, which I did.
